Dude!!! I was in Tehachapi yesterday. My folks live there and we went shooting. It's a 2 hour drive from my house...each way.

Now I'm in Winslow, Arizona and not a flatbed Ford in sight!

You can brush the pigeons off Glenn Frey's statue.

Every time I go on a road trip, I'm reminded that 99.999999% of American hotels do not have hand held showers. I have to do a back bend that Rachel Brice would be proud of just to wash my hair! :silly:

After $2500, three days, and countless tests, they had no idea what was wrong was Digbee. His liver got twice as bad every day. They guessed a toxin (not the grapes supposedly) but had no way of knowing without taking him to Tallahasee for many more $thousand$ of dollars of tests. I asked if he could make it that long and they didn't even know.

We just had to put him down. No sense making him suffer for another week when they didn't even know if he was curable. Bad day.........

Guess I'm buying a new DVD player. Our new HDTV only has HDMI and USB inputs, and the old DVD only has RCA outputs. Tried a cable converter but no joy.

    Yay me.

JBP, sorry to hear about the pup. They sure do grow on ya.

Well last night when i went to bed there was 2" of rain in the rain gauge. At 1300 today it's pegged at 5", and it's still raining steady. Creek is trying to get up to the barn lot right now. If that idiot weatherman says we're still behind on rain tonight, I'm going to 'pen him a missive' on the interwebs and tell him what he is full of, and to what degree. :tooth:

We went to the friends of NRA banquet last night and attendance was down so they auctioned off the extra food. The smoked turkey was really good so I bought a tray of it. We froze some of it today and turkey for lunch this week.

Just turkey? No guns and "stuff"?

Took my boy shooting today. No targets, too many of us using the same paper. My H110 loads shot great out if my GP100. Hot, but not as bad as I thought. Mostly shot 22's Fiocchi is good 22 ammo. Runs my conversion kit great. Great day.

Just finished dinner...son's venison steaks, on the charcoal grill, baked potatoes and steamed veggies...I'm ready for bed...ate way to much venison. I'm sure the second baked potato should have been avoided as well...oh well.

    The Blab is getting big!
We've never got an entire cone for the beagle dog, but we let him finish what's in the cups we bring home. He knows EXACTLY what's in the cup. He states and drools as we eat it, then when he hears the spoon scrape the cup he goes insane. He buries his nose in the cup and licks it clean.

Damn dude, how old is your DVD player? Second question, why? I can't remember the las time I played a DVD... Third if you must, they are dirt cheap nowadays and I highly recommend Samsung.
