9 big oak trees on .4 acres + 2 storms this week = a 4 foot pile of branches picked up out of the yard to burn. The builder put sod 20' around the house, but the rest of the yard is going to need to be cleaned up, smoothed out, and reseeded.

Yep. When I take a trip West of the Mississippi I go Interstate highway, and then take the roads less traveled to where I'm headed. Can't see squat that is interesting from the Interstate. That's the scenic gateway route down to Sabine Pass and some great fishing!

Oh, I like the movies. Don't use him as a life reference as he's an ACTOR and I'm pretty sure most of his famous lines are scripted, but I enjoy his movies.

The difficulty with this conversation is that it's very different from most of the ones I've had of late. Which, as I explained, have mostly been with trees.

'Normal' is something that I've never seen nor experienced when people are involved. They're all pretty much self absorbed poopy heads, and are not only incoherent, but also unpredictable and dangerous. Trees and fence posts aren't very good conversationalists, but they are great listeners. And very patient listeners at that!

So $13-ish bucks and 10 minutes install time and I've got a new throttle cable for my old 4 wheeler. Old one hung up, just crusty from age. New one works like a hot damn, and was super simple to swap. The beast hadn't been started in at least 6-7 months, and after a push or three on the primer knob and less than 5 pulls she came back to life. Dude I night it from days it always starts on the first pull. And other than this time since it had been sitting, he was right. I'll drain the gas and put in some fresh, air up the tires and she will be ready for woods duty.
Got to come up with a pin or some such to connect the lawn trailer (kind that goes behind a mower) to it. Makes hauling deer out much easier.

Wouldn't a really torquey straight 6 like the ford 300 c.i. or jeep 5.0 work better than those V8 they were using? Or is the weight of the bigger motor a more deciding factor?
