Thinking of giving their front pocket holster a try...

Any experiences?

Hickok45 likes them, for whatever that's worth.

Will work for pocket or IWB carry. No clip needed. They sell both with and without, I have the without. Stays put even when I'm sweating.

    Hey! Is yours pink?

Just ordered me one - I like their line item options (wish I could buy a car that way!), and they don't rip you off on shipping! Plus I was able to pay through Amazon - what's not to like?

For a purpose built "pocket holster" the ones from Alabama Holster are about the best on the market.

I took a gander at that design. I should be making Kydex pocket holsters. $35 profit...

Here's where I Jedi mind trick zorba.

    This :

Plus an oven or heat gun, a foam camping pad from Walmart, some scrap plywood....instant holster.

I got a Remora - and I may very well get an Alabama as well. I'll eventually end up with a pile of holsters like everybody else I'm sure...

I love Hickok 45, but I don't think he's a firearms expert. He's got a good knack for talking and he IS well spoken, but he's an ex school teacher. He has no real deep background in firearms. Don't get me wrong. He's a credit to our side. He is NRA and he supports the 2A to the hilt. He's a good guy, but he'll tell you he's no expert.

I say all that to say this, he does seem to have a boat load of common sense, and something like a holster he might be a good source of opinion. He uses stuff and has experience like that. So yeah, I would listen to his opinion on holsters when money is about to be spent.

You will like it. Tuck it on your skirt all nice and snug.

And you aren't buying that other holster. You've got the tools and skills to make the Kydex holster.

Yea, if I could find the time. Wife is after me to make more sistra (Sistrums) since we sold the last one. My workshop really isn't setup, and I don't have the time, but I'm going to have to do it anyway. I need to make more bustle pillows too - and I'm *really* trying to get this darn house put together first!

Not sure what an "expert" is, but hickock 45 meets my definition of an expert. He's been shooting a long time and with a lot of firearms. I don't take his opinion as the final word, reserve that for myself for my own applications and I don't meet anyone's definitions are. He's pretty damn good and makes pretty good videos.

I consider him an "expert" although I don't know exactly what that is. The reason I do is because he shows proficiency with a number of different weapons and is able to take them down and demonstrate how to clean them.

As for holsters, I ordered a Versacarry IWB out of buffalo hide. I've got blue jeans now that allow me to slide a gun inside.

I have the Alabama front pocket holster. It is a good one, but nothing I couldn't have made with $5 worth of Kydex and a heat gun. I use it more than anything else, actually, with a S&W Shield.

An Alabama Holster is a roll of duct tape.
