Thornton, CO Walmart shooting

Not making light or jest of it, but it's more evidence in support of what a friend of mine advises: When you're at Walmart, do two things:
A. Pay attention to those around you.
B. Carry, if you can.

Overkill is underrated.

I'm mildly surprised that no one was in a position to confront.

One of my favorite things to do when my wife is in a store here in Missouri, while I'm waiting in a car outside, is watching men getting out of their cars and making movements that suggest they are "repositioning" their guns.
It's a source of great pride for me, that when my name is googled, one finds book titles and not mug shots. Daniel C. Chamberlain

My son and I shop at that walmart frequently.
Police station is only two blocks away.
I wish I could say that I'm shocked.

The Gander mountain i worked at was next door.

Not likely a lot of CCW in that area.

Guess they can give him due process and march him down the green mile. The rest of us can get on with our lives such as they are.

Green mile? Not while chickenpooper is office. Even if given the death penalty that worthless SOB would commute his sentence before he leaves, like he did with Nathan Dunlap

Possible but not accurately predictable. At least Thornton's finest got him locked up. Gotta go there in 10 days or so.

I grew up about a mile from that Walmart......of course it wasn't there before I left, but I have shopped there from time to time when I visit my Dad.

Usually I try to go late to ElWalmart here. Always carry.
Power shop & get out......can't ask for help because I don't speak Spanish!
