What the Hell, Bobby!!!

Walked into my LGS this afternoon. Said hi to all the guys. They looked at me a smiled. Then, one said to another, "Show him."

A single shot .22lr the size of a smart phone.

Like a frigging Transformer! Don't know what it would be good for other than wearing skinny jeans, and tight V-Neck shirt, and going to a Rave Party with your "phone" in your back pocket. But, it takes a little bit of tactile effort to transform it. So, it ain't no quick lifesaving device. There is no extractor either. Not sure how one would remove the spent case.
I told them it might sell as a novelty for under $200, but at their $400 asking price..........piss on THAT!!

Carry a 25 if it makes you feel good, but do not ever load it. If you load it, you may shoot it. If you shoot it, you may hit somebody, and if you hit somebody – and he finds out about it – he may be very angry with you. --Jeff Cooper

In 25-30years, that thing will be a collectible oddity and be selling for $1500 on gunbroker. Look at the Philips and Rodgers Medusa revolver- an oddity from 1995 that is now worth insane amounts of cash

That, one can justify. Given the adequate funding.
Float me $400.
You are a cantankerous, humorless, one track minded individual...........but every once in awhile........you launch a zinger!
Well played.
For that piece of junk? Hell, no

You know what you did.

Wrong, except the last sentence. I'm known for my rapier wit and broad-mindedness. I launch zingers all the time but few lock onto them as they think I'm as you described above.
