    If it does and you use Kroil that way, you'd better store it muzzle down. That stuff creeps so good it'll get through the roll seam at the bottom of the sheet tin can.

    No. In my experience any pretreatment simply compounds the problem. Bare bore and bullets. That's it. I've treated bores, and I've treated bullets, and both at the same time. Bare bore, bare bullets is where I'm at. Mike

    Watching NASCAR, I noticed that a crew member was spraying down the nozzle of his gas can with Ballistol.  Guess it needs lube.
