    🐒

I don't have anything that elaborate like a Bowie knife. I have a 10" Kershaw camp knife still in the plastic I thought I needed a few years ago and some bayonets.

    🐒

    I LIKE that knife!

Cabelas had it on sale back before they became giant sized. I used to carry it in the game pouch of my vest, but have recently replaced it with a smaller Green River. It does camp duty now.

BTW this first knife picture got the ONE post I ever got from Dan Johnson saying he was jealous... 😎

I can see why DJ was jealous. That blade is shaped to work.

The one underneath that big Colt is serious business too.

I sent this screen shot from the movie The Last of the Dogmen to my knife maker and said make me this with a thick 8” blade.  He sent me back this .3” spine D2 camp knife.  He took instruction well.  😁

    Does this count?

Dad’s Navy dress sword, my Winchesters, Henry and faincy Ruger, then my S&W Brazilian, a slightly-modded Citadel .45, and a few somewhat unique pocketknives.  This is on one wall in my home office.

It counts, but now I have to take my shoes off for the final tally.

Very NICE, I would love to do something like that with the old Winchesters,  but would worry about some scum bag stealing them.

Yes and no--------I bought it for the fun of it; but, somebody made it to fit on pistol rails.

I think if it had a normal knife grip, it would be a good knife for some of the processing
for a big game animal. The bayonet type grip would make it a beast to clean up, I think.

It is right sharp, though I have not tested how well it holds an edge.
