Just wanted to show a photo of the new bigger loop lever that I put on my 45-70. The original was small and squared off at the corners, and was uncomfortable to shoot, and never even tried it with gloves on, but would have been a tight fit. This one is from
I haven't shot it yet, but it seemguns014.jpgs great. You can also see that I removed the cross bolt safety.

I like! Bigger, but not cartoonishly large.

That's an improvement over the original , and that "Rifleman" version. The stock one on my 1895 hurts my fingers and no way I could use it with gloves.

Not only functional, but the curved loop just flows with the gun and is easier on the eye.

I like that loop lever UT!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a Winchester lever 38-55 a while back that had the big "Rifle Man" loop on it. I like the one you have better.
