    To the above video ...

If you have a gun why would you pull a knife first? Range Ninjas are better than this
I-D-I-O-T even Gecko45 would be doing a facepalm ... maybe :uhm:

I'm beginning to think he's a firearms troll that posts as an instructor.
    Overkill is underrated.

Only if my right arm/hand is being blocked by my attacker and I NEED to use my GTFOM knife to be able to access it.

YouTube, one of mankind's greates AND worst inventions rolled into one. Someone is home right now watching that video thinking it is "instruction"...

It's perfectly instructional. How not to handle a gun--ever.

    He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.....

Pretty sure that that "head shot" popped the ceiling. Wonder how the range owner feels about that.

Oh, and he has his own Youtube channel....

Yet another Internet Attention Seeker! Maybe, he is Certified? Question....Does Call of Duty or America's Army issue certifications? I think I've seen these techniques before. I might be thinking of Doom.

This guy is dangerous. He has no business handling loaded firearms, much less teaching people how to handle them.

Read an article over the weekend...maybe on The Firearm Blog, where they openly called him the "most ****" instructor on the internet. The level of butthurt was amazingly hilarious.

The troubling thing is he actually has students who buy into this type shooting. Many of these students also are new to firearms and he is setting them up with unsafe practices as a base that will likely get others around them hurt before themselves. Sure call him **** or such, he is worse ... IRRESPONSIBLE!

I don't think the NRA certifies "defensive" firearm instructors. Maybe the guy does have an NRA cert as a safety instructor, albeit a very bad one, and made up/exaggerated his defensive credentials? I've seen guys who were qualified in one area who were teaching in another and were way over their heads.

I know this is old but I saw this and can't resist the opportunity to make a statement.

"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink!"
I looked back just now and saw I said this same thing in 2015. But it still applies so I'm reaffirming it.

Just because he attended the class and somehow passed the test, a firearms instructor it doth not make! Is this another example of affirmative action?

You gotta have a little something to work with and you gotta give a damn to be an instructor. Apparently he doesn't qualify. Some people are professional test takers. They can sit through a class and just absorb the high points and pass the exam. Hell, we're all capable on a good day of passing a quiz. Just because he took a firearms instructor course and passed the exam doesn't make him a good instructor. Even at all that, people go to college all the time, pass exams, and still are piss poor at their profession. After all the dust settles you gotta give a damn. You can have a whole wall of diploma's and certificates and still suck at your profession.

It's scary and it sucks but that's life. We have to be careful in whom we place our trust.

I've said it before, not all gun owners are gun guys.

These are the Knuckleheads and JackWagons that the big Gun Companies are talking to. Suddenly, Ruger slogan, "Arms makers for responsible citizens" makes more sense. They have to be on the record as promoting safety so when people like this shoot themselves or others they'll have less legal leverage.

    Sad...but it's a reality.:deadhorse:

There was a video posted here several years ago showing an even worse instructor. While telling everyone in the class that he was the only one qualified to handle a firearm, he proceeded to shoot himself. I think he even have been a LEO, but am not sure.

Surely I'm not the only one who remembers this.

Reminds me of a certain tool bag resting a rifle over another persons buttocks, shooting it and then posting it on youtube for all to see thinking it was funny. :jester:
