Last night I drove my kids home from their after school stuff.

From the backseat I hear, “Averie, my Peter is standing up!”

    I have two girls 8 and 5.

After almost choking on my laughter, surprise and confusion I remembered. They both got Peter Rabbit toys from McDonald’s.

Oh, the movie folks are boycotting?

Had a buddy who had his own house immediately out of high school. I had a girlfriend. Figure everyone is smoking what I'm rolling here. He had a Rottweiler. There was search to find some missing underbtitches. Eventually found, with pieces missing. I was far more amused than she.

I got into a heck of a stramash with some Liberals online a couple or three years ago over my assertion that people who look to be offended, will be. They didn't like that AT ALL. This movie scene - first I've heard of it BTW - is an excellent example of just that.

Its actually a great "teachable moment" for kids to actually learn something - most haven't heard of food allergies I'm sure.

They are offended by a cartoon rabbit throwing food at a grown man? Hmm, I looked high and low, it seems I am all out of to give.

Something about food allergies. Like Zorba said, some folks just look for a reason to be offended.

Is it a Valentines Day Card? Cause, y’know, you...

Oh we're going out for Valentine's Day...to get the taxes done.

I did send her roses though, so there's not a COMPLETE lack of romance.

Damn. That's been a long time ago thinking back, and I still remember that night well. It was the day OJ Simpson was leading police on the chase.

So you were at a friends house and his Rottweiler ate your girlfriends underbritches while you watched OJ getting chased on the TV.

It would give more umph, but this surprisingly had enough.

I was thinking more about slowing down the rate of feed to make a really smooth cut. "Atlas/Craftsman" lathe gears are dirt cheap on Ebay at times, and there's a 16/32 tooth combo gear that could give you a high/low feed rate along with the variable speed motor. Infinite feed control!

I'm building a power feed. Not a watch. :tooth:
At high speed as it is, it's too fast to use for anything other than returning it to the other side quickly for another cut. (If that's what the operation called for)
It could be faster for that purpose, but not even close to worth the hassle. And the low speed is low enough.

We don’t do much for St. Valentine’s Day, since our anniversary is four days later. Big faincy dinner for that.

I wish Mrs Chief :angel2: :angel2: was still alive to give her a nice card/box of candy/flowers with a heart shaped Mylar balloon.........I did put out bouquet of multicolored roses Sunday at the cemetery.

I'm going to Destin to get a few really big shrimp and then back to Sam's for a couple of prime filets and this evening I'm going to grill a nice surf and turf dinner.

What make the liberal reaction to the movie even more ridiculous is that in the original story, MacGregor caught Peter's father and his wife made a pie out of him. All the animals did was throw berries.

To add to it, I believe MacGregor wanted to catch the cute little bunnies and take them into town and trade them for tobacco while his wife wanted to make a coat out of them. Those evil little bunnies had the nerve to throw berries at the guy that wanted to kill them.
