    When it rains, it pours

As most of you know, I'm having to have a torn rotator cuff surgically repaired today.
If that's not bad enough, about 2:30 this morning, I woke up COLD. Looked at the digital thermometer on the wall in the bedroom and it was reading 55*
Figured with the recent warm weather, I'd forgotten to switch the thermostat back to heat. Got up to turn it on, NOPE, heat was "on"
Wondered if a breaker had tripped, checked the in-side box, all were on. Got dressed and went to the outside box, none of them were tripped either.

So, while I go take one of my finals in a few minutes, wife's waiting for the HVAC folks to come see why it's not working. HOPEFULLY, they'll be here and it'll be an easy fix, before I have to leave to go for the surgery.

Did I mention the fact it's FREAKIN' COLD in here right now?
And to top it all off, because of my surgery in a few hours, I can't have any coffee to warm me up

Wow Paul, What a way to start the day. The good thing is that it has to get better, lol. Pay attention to your doctors and rehab people and you will do fine. I had my rotator cuff repaired a couple of years ago. It took me about a year to get back to normal. It isn't possible to not move your arm, so it keeps irritated for a long tme. Good luck......Robin

Hope it's a 75 dollar part, not a new unit!

Nope, wife's signing the paperwork for a new unit. Though the tech has managed to patch the current one together enough to HOPEFULLY last until they can get the new one installed

That sucks that it's hitting all at once. I guess there is a bright side. Soon you'll have your shoulder all fixed up and a nice warm house.

    Define "FREAKIN' COLD".....

Dang Paul, yeah I hope it is nothing major. Don't sweat it, pass your final, and I think everything will be alright.
