Charter Arms 9mm and .40 cal Pitbull

Anyone out there have any personal info regarding these revolvers? Anyone own one? How are they, how do they shoot etc.

    Thanks

I was kind of interested in a Charter Arms revolver a while back until I saw it in person. Quite crude with numerous tool marks and even casting imperfections (or so it appeared). They make Taurus revolvers look nice

Charter Arms has gone trough several owners and the products go from pretty good to pretty darn rough. I have a .32H&R mag that is a neat little gun but I'seen some I would not buy.

I've got a Taurus 445 in 44 Special. Magna ported in Titainium(no longer available). Shoots great and handles well. No ones tried a car jacking since I got it. Bummer! The 44 Special is ballisticly the same as a 45 APC and I'd rather have a $439.00 weapon in the car than a $1200.00 45. Later,

Thanks for the responses. I know charter arms is not a high dollar firearm. I own springfields, glocks, and kimber. However, I am intrigued by these and would like a gun that I can "keep in the car" and carry as a "back-up".

I have one of the Charter .44s, and it is a solid little gun. Definitely a step up from the multiple Taurus guns that I have owned (and never will again).

I am interested in the Pitbulls. But I love oddball guns.
