Can't find .223,5.56, 9mm ammo etc in southeast texas. No ar-15 rifles anywhere. Is this the case everywhere?

Welcome to G&A
Ammo is hard to find everywhere. I don't see it getting any better in the near future.

Welcome!
Sadly, it is everywhere. If it is not sold out, then the price has at LEAST doubled.
Up here in the North country you can't find an AR, and when they do come in they are all gone within an hour. Ammo is in short supply, all the popular calibers are sold out, Reloading supplies are in short supply also. Glad I am not out of ammo for now.
Yep. That's the deal right now.

Check the pawn shops, too.
Sent from my Inspiron 1200.
Ammo was scarce when Oblivit took office. At the first sign of anything people buy ammo, it's kinda like when it snows in Atlanta everyboby buys bread, milk and flashlight batteries. Ban chicken livers and see if you can get into a KFC.Later,

Recoil is how you know primer ignition is complete.
I have been buying guns and ammo and related accessories since the early 90's. I have no issues right now with supplies. Sorry your late to the party lol

No black rifles even down here in Puerto Rico and AMMO is very scarce!
If this post is non welcomed, I can always give you a recipe for making "tostones".
Palmetto state armory had some semi reasonably priced 9mm in stock today. Picked up a bit to feed my new M&P. Not sure if it's still in stock. 223 is either out of stock or outrageously priced.
