    Howdy folks

Howdy folks. Been lurking for a while, figured it's time to introduce myself. And I figured what better way than by posting some pictures of a few of my favorite toys. Anyone know how to make these show up full size in the post instead of just thumbnails?

Welcome to the forum. Nice pics & guns, btw.

My pics show up full size because I post a link to the address in my photobucket account. I'm not sure how you're doing it.

Thanks Razorbacker, I'll check that out. I was just using the "Insert Image" button in the post editor and uploading the images to the forum. Will have to put them in my photobucket account from now on.

    Re: Howdy folks

For full size pics post a link to a pic host like Photobucket, etc. I use Hunt101.com. Make sure the pixel width is under 600. I'm not sure if the current site software resizes big images, but there have been problems with past systems blowing up the width of the page for everything, not just the pictures. Then they come out this way:

Interesting. My full size images were 1200x800. It looks like, when you upload an image directly to the forum, it will display as a thumbnail, and when clicking it will resize the larger image depending on the available screen real estate (which will be different for everyone). Btw, nice box!

    Welcome to the madhouse!

I think for posting full size pics you have to dance around a fire naked.. Oh wait, that's the barrel break in procedure; never mind.

    I use photbucket.

Go to edit the post, and click the first button on the left at the top of the post. It looks like "A/A" and if you hover over it, it will say "Switch Editor to WYSIWYG Mode". The Thumbnails will show up in the editor. DDouble Click on them, and you will be given an option box to have them show up in different sizes.

I'll do one in your first post. You do the rest.

I think it does, Jerry. I remember the old system freaking out with anything over 700 pixels, but I believe this one doesn't.

Thanks bullsi1911! Hopefully posting larger images isn't a breach of etiquette. Personally I like big pics :)

I'm not much of a hunter, my main interest in guns would be target shooting / plinking.
