    Could Be Good For Hawgs

Here's some pics of the completed custom made pistol I had made. A Fusion Firearms 6" longslide 10mm. gun.

    6" of 10mm magnificence.

Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. If I have lots of guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Re: Could Be Good For Hawgs

None of your pics came out for me.

I have no idea what this hand cannon looks like but I'm not real big on hand guns for hogs, unless it's got a bolt and a 14 inch barrel, AND a bottle neck case. The reason being is where I hunt most all hog shots are going to be 100 yards +. The smallest round I've yet used on hogs has been a .250 Savage. But I was shooting a 115 grain bullet too that was buzzing along at a pretty good clip. My favorite hog round is either my .270 Win. or my 8x57 Mauser.

    Beautiful gun.

One day, I'll have a longslide. Just not high on the list right now. But, I want one in 9mm or .40 S&W.
Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hands faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to do harm to me and mine. But Lord, if today be the day that you call me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass.

I have lusted after a long slide 1911 for many years, that is a right purty pistol! A hog gun sounds like a good enough excuse to me.

Hey, there ain't nuthin stupid about letting the professionals do it. That's a smart move on your part. Also, now that I see your pics and know more about this hog gun, I could live with it. 10mm is a hoss of a handgun cartridge and will do Mr. Porky in real well. You did good. And, YOU SUCK!!!

Nice but rules are pictures or they don't exist and stock photos from fusion don't count
BTW, I have been lusting after a 10mm long slide for years.

I like it! 10mm is fine for pigs esp when you have quick back up shots. It has similar performance to the 41 mag. The size of that pistol will tame the recoil. If your charged the load in your pants will act as counter balance.

    s

10mm's are becoming very popular as bear backup guns while bowhunting out west. I have been seeing a lot of Glock 20's and EEA Witnesses. The only issue is thick skin penetration. A 180 hardball is best. Stay away from the 135 hp's.

    Nice piece.
The 10mm would efficiently dispatch hogs with bullets designed for penetration and of course good shot placement.
    How does it shoot?
Good luck, be safe & shoot straight.

I'm a big 10mm fan for a backup 'woods gun' in hoggy areas, and 1911's are beautiful. Put a longer barrel on one and make it pretty - what's not to like?

Re: Could Be Good For Hawgs

The pics were not showing when the thread was first posted, glad they are now. Beautiful gun and a long slide 10mm makes a lot of sense.
