Quick range trip with the XDM....

Ran down to the range before work today. I see much potential in the new pistola. Need to practice though! Jerking the trigger bad today. Put several down low.

The pasters are 3''.. All shot from the 30 foot line. Other people there today, and only had less than 30 minutes to shoot. So didn't call cease fire to move out to 25yd...

    1) Top left is 180gr WWB shot standing. Shot 10 in the white, turned rear sight 6 clicks and put two in 8 ring, turned 8 clicks and hit the 3 to the left.
    2) Top right is 155gr WWB shot standing, stopped after 4.... Blah.
    3) Middle left is 180gr Speer GoldDots shot from bench with sand bag, 10 rounds. This is what could do if I did my part.
    4) Middle right is 155gr TAP from bench. Only had 6.

5&6 were quick(ish) offhand, and horrible. Again, I need to practice! Overall, I like!! Might play with the next bigger grip insert next time....

    Gun shoots well.

Possibly because of being in a hurry you got tired near the end.

Looks like you're going to enjoy that pistol! There's always a delicate balance between accuracy and speed. Follow through is the key as you pick the speed up, but it's still something I often struggle with.

I've owned several XD's before and have 2 XDm's right now. The XDm has a much better trigger than the XD. Once you get used to it, you will be amazed at how well it shoots.
