    Prayer Request for Neighbor

My Neighbor, Danial, the one i've shown pics of welding, found his 53 year old son, Danny, dead Monday afternoon. Danial and Miss Helen live next door to me, and Danny lived on the other side of them. This is a great family. Danial is mostly Polish, and Miss Helen is mostly Czeck. These people are great Americans that haven't forgotten what a great country we live in. They work hard and pay their taxes. One of the son in laws, I call him "The Dutchman" is the step son of a man from Seadrift I grew up around, Bob Lee. Bob worked for Union Carbide back in the 50S and early 60s, but drug up one day and went to work for Brown and Root in the North Sea. There he met his wife in Holland. She had a son from another marriage, I think her husband had died. Bob brought her and her son here to Seadrift and the step son was raised here. He told me he couldn't speak english when he first came, but now you'd swear he was a native Seadrifter. So he is married to Danial's youngest daughter. I'm telling you, these are great people. It kills my wife and I to see this close family hurting right now. Danny was Danial's only son so this is sad. I just came from the funeral and will go to the family reception in a few. My wife handled setting up the food at the Six Mile Church so she's out there getting things ready. I didn't go to the grave yard, those places give me the creaps, so I came home to rest my aching back for a minute and grab another cup of coffee. Then I'm headed out to Six Mile Community. It's a Czeck community and I think Miss Helen has kin there.
