Or as SEC players call it...."Dat Der NC".....you know, because none of them can read or write above a 3rd grade level, and only stay in college for 2 years, and have advisers that intentionally get them out of any class that actually has an academic requirement... :D

Roll Tide, War Eagle, Geaux Tigers...etc....

First school to win it back to back...

Nick Saban is the first to win the BCS with two different teams.

Bear Bryant gets credit for this also, but only because the NCAA retro-recognized one of his wins as a championship.

Isn't that every college football player? Oh wait, A&M's last quarterback had a 3.9 in Chemistry and got accepted to Med School.

You know the Big 12 has had a few True Student Athletes in the past decade or so....The ACC has one or two. FSU had a Rhodes Scholar not too long back.

RGIII graduated Baylor with a Masters...

Pre-nup. And if only a gomer can get a Miss Alabama then my new last name is Pyle. Miss Alabama is quite possibly the hottest chick on the planet.

No, Just a huge college football fan from the PAC-12, you can only take so much of getting to the big dance and then getting whooped on, and then half of whatever SEC team was there this year declaring for the draft early only to be filled by another all american player who can barely speak English who will inevitably declare for the draft as soon as he possibly can...and then repeat....at some point as someone who is a season ticket holder and huge fan you realize that the playing field is not equal, several of the SEC teams are recruiting kids (I believe) with promises of getting "around" the current college to pro system...it is what it is, I respect the winning, question the methods...rant over...

HALF????? Hmmmmm, Lacy (RB), Milner (DB) and Fluker (OL) declared early. If that's half the team, when did Alabama start playing 6 on 6 football??

Edited to add: And that shade of green doesn't look good on you

There's a reason Bama was "banned" from the Rose Bowl way back when, because they wouldn't "roll over and play dead" for the "powers" (Stanford, USC {or was it UCLA} Washington etc)way back when. That's also why the Alabama fight song contains the line, "Remember the Rose bowl, we'll win then"

That's twice with the "dumb southerners" sentiment.

Not at all, I have much respect for my brethren from the south...I am, however, more than a casual football fan...and SOME (more than most other conferences) of the SEC players of late do not pass the most basic of eye test....Language dialect aside, if you compare a Virginia man like, for instance, Russell Wilson to say Morris Claiborne, or Nick Fairley and then claim that they attended/passed even similar classes I would believe your pantaloons alight!

    Buffy,
Seriously, no disrespect to Southerners, just SEC football players...but, If you ever want to go mano y mano on Jeopardy or something though I might surprise you....

C'mon, why's everyone gotta be so sensitive? Every school has its exceptions, We had that moron Corey Dillon and Jeremy Stevens, if you want to get into student athlete graduation rates or academics, I'd welcome it...Relax fellas...

And you Bama boys remember, you could barely break 20 pts a game till you hired Dougie from us....

Hey Cheetoh, if it makes you feel any better at least most of the SEC is terrible at basketball (except for Kentucky and Florida)...then again that won't help your Pac-12 pride much because they've been pretty terrible at basketball for the past few years too.

Yeah it's a bit frustrating being a big college football fan and a fan of a non-sec school, but hard not to respect their dominance even if it is really really annoying and frustrating! As with everything though this too shall pass. GO BUCKEYES!
