He did well in the face of a biased interviewer. he came off as reasoned and reasonable. I'm impressed.
We need more like him in DC
He was appointed to fill the term of Craig Thomas after Craig passed. Then he ran this past election and leading up to that election he took a more conservative stance, now he's starting to pull to the left, and if he continues on his current trajectory, it's going to be a looong 6 years.

He sounded like a politician on the 'right' side of some conservative issues.
My problem is that I'm really sick of politicians, right now - anyone who even acts like they might possibly compromise with the left gets a thumbs down from me. It's like trying to negotiate with the Palestinians.
Have you paid any attention to the votes he's cast since the election? Talks out of one side of his mouth, votes the other. The fiscal cliff vote tells you about everything we need to know about him now.
