I think, and I hate to say it, Morgan said something important. The Newtown killer was deranged. So, by his self confessed logic, the rest of us don't get to have something because an insane person might misuse it.
Second, the whole "It's worth it if it saves one life" idea. I believe it was our beloved and respected president who brought that one out again. I have a reply. No it's not worth it if, to save one life, you cost 1,000, or 100, or even 10 lives.
There isn't a response that would score points, IMHO.
Which is why I have pretty much resorted to saying "leave me the alone! I haven't, nor will I ever, use my weapons in a violent manner unless myself or my family is in danger. It's none of you ing business what weapons I choose to own. I'm not the problem. Muderous physcopaths are."
Seriously. I think I have good answers for the ignorant masses. I know that I am the preacher asking the choir here, but do you think that the position I am taking comes across as extreme? It makes sense to me, but I am obviously biased.
