If I were to shoot from buck shot to bird shot and even slugs, I would choose a dedicated full choke barrel.

Inside the house, probably doesn't matter. Mod or IC.
The only time I ever put a full choke tube in any of my shotguns is when I'm planning on pass shooting ducks or geese. There's no need for them inside 25 yards.

Yeah, but if you're shooting Steel Shot at waterfowl I wouldn't use a full for that either. Steel is weird. It will pattern real tight out to 40+ yards through a modified or even Imp. Cyl. choke whereas lead demands a full choke for that range.
