ETA: does the bayonet fold inward so you can double it up as a carry knife...sorta?

Yup, you almost can tell by the name of of the permit/license. CPL = concealed pistol permit, LTCF (PA) = license to carry firearms, etc. I think only where you have CWP (concealed weapon permit) that you can begin to check the laws and see what are defined as "weapons" that you can carry. There are local restrictions too. While you can carry "cutting instruments" in PA, for example, you can't carry ANY cutting instruments in Philly, even a freakin' Swiss Army knife. The cops will mostly ignore those and even folders, but if they don't like you or want to get you for something, they have excuses if you are carrying one of those. Absurd!

Kentucky CCDW permit covers the following:

Any weapon from which a shot, readily capable of producing death or serious physical injury, may be discharged.
Any knife other than an ordinary pocket knife or hunting knife.
    Billy, nightstick, or club.
    Blackjack or slapjack.
    Nunchaku karate sticks.
    Shiriken or death star.
Artificial knuckles made from plastic, or other similar hard material.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil: For I carry a .308 and not a .270

It should be called LTBN (licensed to be ninja) ...
But seriously, that's what all carry permits/licenses should cover. Unfortunately, that's not the case for many states.

It would here in NC also. I don't carry it.

Agreed. I had one, and the bullets wouldn't go through a 55 gallon drum. Kinda wish I would have kept it. They are really pretty accurate. But holding it the same each time is challenging.

I'll tell you what, I wouldn't want to be shot with it, even if it is cute!

As a hangun to have in a shootout, the .22 is lacking a tad, but as a deterrent, it sizes up. You point one at someone and like you said, no one would want to be shot with it.
