WW I movie update

With the centenial of WW I approaching there is a new movie on WW I that has just come out it's german Der Maenner Die Emden/ Odessyee of Heros with English subtitles see youtube for a clip. From what little I have seen of it the movie looks good. for supplemental reading go to archives.org and you can read online Hellmuth Von Mucke books "The Emden and The Ayesha. Archives.org is a good place to find oldered books online. Other WW I movies that i have recently found on youtube are: Fraulien Doktor, WW I spy classic; Admiral Russian with subtitles; Passchendaele canadian and The Lost Battalion. I hope this is of some use to someone.

Thanks for the info -- I'll check it out. Up to now, my fave WW1 movie is the original "All Quiet" but even that has aged and parts of it are maudlin (as was the original novel).
