Mounted the Sightron on my Remington 700

About freaking time, since I bought the scope in early December.

Anyway, here is my go-to game getter. Remington 700 Classic 7mm08, Sightron SII Big Sky 3.5-10 mounted in one piece Talley lightweight rings.

The scope and rings were worth every penny. Bright, clear, lightweight, and fits on my rifle perfectly. The scope gives the bolt handle about 3mm of clearance, just enough for me to work the action without pinching myself, and it's right at eye level when I bring it up on target. To top it off, the rifle balances right on the most forward action screw while unloaded.

Hopefully I can get it sighted in before I leave, but either way I'm very pleased with how it turned out!

edited because without the space between "beat" and "cha" the auto-censor eats everything but the last "a"

Looks like your workbench needs cleaning ALMOST as bad as mine does.

Rifle looks good, and I'll be extremely surprised and disappointed if you don't fall in love with that scope

    Much better!

I can safely say, recommending the Talley Lightweight rings to me was a brain storm for Wambli. He actually IS useful! Well, at least.........once.

Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hands faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to do harm to me and mine. But Lord, if today be the day that you call me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass.

Fine looking rig. That photo looks like it was taken on my bench after someone removed some of the crap!
