not to buy any more firearms. Today, I bought a .22 Colt Targetsman, a dainty little pistol. I'll try posting a picture,
The gun looks better than the picture. Maybe 95 %, wear around the muzzle only.

Good job on the picture Gene.
I like it.
Would look good with some vintage ammo in the picture too....I like those kind of pictures anyway
That looks like a shooter.
Sent from my Inspiron 1200.
Violation of your oath. It would have been a crime to pass on that one.
Very nice.
I like it, it looks like a Ruger Clone to me, LOL, JK.
Isn't it amazing how a camera can make a thing of beauty look bad? Some of my guns I've shown here are a whole lot purttier than the pics,![]()

I only have YOU guys to blame if things don't work out as planned.
I have always wanted either that one or a Woodsman.
Nice score, Gene.

Probably about 90%. The front/backstraps are a little dappled. I paid $450 for it, hope I didn't get burned.

This pistol was made in 1961, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's the III variation and the difference between it and a III Woodsman is that the Targetsman has adjustable sights. The Variation I and II Woodsmen had a different mag release as well.

Oath beakers must be punished. And Gene L, you are no exception. We sentence you to 30 visits to the pistol range, and you must fire this pistol on every visit. There is no appeal, no reduction in sentence will be considered. You must begin serving as soon as ammo becomes available. And may God have mercy on your targets. Court is adjourned. ALL RISE!
Congrats on breaking your oath and avoiding the fine.

$450 for a 90%+ Colt is a deal all day long. You did very well Gene, that is a beautiful gun!

This site has a great FAQ section that will answer many of your questions. The Huntsman (I have one of those) and your Targetsman were made as "economy" models of the Woodsman. The difference between the Huntsman and the Targetsman was the adjustable rear sight like yours.

Gosh, all you guys suck! There just aren't any good used guns around here. I figured with all the mines shut down the unemployed would be selling their guns, but the only thing they're letting go of are Lorcins and such.
Nice old Colt, Gene!
