Personally, I would get another lower at that price. Parts for a pistol build will be way too high and unavailable right now. Having 2 lowers just in case makes the most sense to me.

Again, this is my conundrum, the Stevens trigger was pretty bad out of the box but it seemed a little better with a dozen dry fires at the banquet.

actually I didn't get a new trigger for my Stevens. I stoned it and adjusted it down. I will say that it has a very crips let off but I can't get it below about 3 pounds. But I have a pre accutrigger Savage mod. 110 that I put a Rifle Basix trigger on and it worked out very well.

I "won" a Thompson Omega Z5(?) something or another .50 muzzleloader also, I might just use the balance of the credit, if I don't keep the 22-250, to gear up for some muzzleloading.

I went this route, my LGS had one more left.
