Some of you have seen this over the years. It's an early 80s, late 70s (uncertain) Argentine Hi-Power made on FN license or it may have been one of the ones Argentina made after the license contract ended, and before they started making their slab sides model. Anyway, it's a Hi-Power "Copy" and not a "Rendition," and as such, all parts interchange.

Here's what's been done to it.

Bead blasted to get rid of the crappy lacquer style paint job.

Front strap, back strap, back of slide and at the slide scallops, have been hand stippled. The steel is hard and the stippling tool took a real beating!

The trigger's been worked on a bit, but the mag safety is still operative.

Slide to frame rail fit has been tightened the old fashioned way, and is both smooth and tight. It brought the gun from a 5" at 25 yards, to a 2" at 25 yard shooter.

It's been parkerized. The photo was taken immediately after the park job, but in the last 10 years, the patina has changed and the frame has more of an OD Green finish while the slide remains rather black/gray.

The gun is also listed on Gun Broker and better photos can be seen there is you search "FM Hi-Power"

PM me with your thoughts, if you're interested. We'll discuss it.
