    Bill de Blasio, NYC mayor

I haven't heard many pols be this honest. Creepy, terrifying, totalitarian; but honest.

Look, if I had my druthers, the city government would determine every single plot of land, how development would proceed. And there would be very stringent requirements around income levels and rents. That’s a world I’d love to see, and I think what we have, in this city at least, are people who would love to have the New Deal back, on one level. They’d love to have a very, very powerful government, including a federal government, involved in directly addressing their day-to-day reality.
Emphasis added. I can breathe a little easier knowing this statement will not get him very far in National politics. Eh, maybe some Bernie supporters.

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

He's pathetic. Sadly he'll be re-elected and NYC will enjoy even more socialism and anti-police crap from City Hall. East Coast Kommifornia.

He may be honest but he's still a commie piece of crap. I really wonder what the democrat party is going to produce next....Stalin or Lenin maybe? NYC is Bolshevik central these days.

Would anybody actually miss that clown if he choked to death on an overdose of his own BS?

Der Bernster's legacy is Democrat politicians can now admit what they are. It is what his campaign was about. After the first primary he should have known the fix was in. The rest of the campaign was about pulling the party further to the left AND out into the open.

Bill is the PERFECT mayor for NYC. Now if we could just put up a wall around south NY state and East NJ and prevent the cancer cells from spreading west/south when they retire it would be wonderful...

Also add a wall between Queens and Nassau/Suffolk counties would be good too. Still a lot of Republicans there.

You know, after reading this for a few days I'm thinking Bernie isn't this communistic. He believes in some liberties. He just doesn't mind big government with a lot of government services. Deblasio wants total control over people, he's a freaking closet dictator. If that was my only choice I would take Bernie any day.

Yeah, but say somebody put a gun to your head and said vote for one of the two. I'd vote for Bernie. I may have to lick my own ass to get the taste outta my mouth, but...... well yeah the lesser of evils. But that ain't happening so you know I'm not voting for either of those libtards.
