    First Bow Kill of 2017

Couldnt have asked for a better shot, 20 yards broad side and dropped her in its tracks. PSE Axe II with Allen 3 blade fixed broad head does the job again, I love not having to track bow deer. I am getting a little old to drag these darn things out though, but smoked back straps wrapped in bacon make it all worth it.

That had to be an exciting draw from 20 yards. Good shot!
My thoughts are generally clear. My typing, not so much.

I'm getting too old to drag deer as well. The 1985 Suzuki 4 wheeler I bought for $300 was some of the best money I ever spent.

Money well spent for sure....this was on public land in KS, of course no vehicles. I had a buddy right down the road with a four wheeler, but nope, had to drag about 150 yards UPHILL, about killed me.

I built one once, sat under my deck for years and never used it once. Tires rotted out and I ended up throwing the space waster out, but I would have loved it Saturday!
