Cool beans. However I have always thought the Super Redhawks were sorta fugly, albeit as strong as a brick sheet house.

I would rather see that in a Redhawk actually. A SRH is cool though.

Too big and heavy for 10 mm; a 610 would be a better choice.

In a lighter revolver they are actually pretty cool. You get the quick change of full moon clips, and you can fire 40 S&W with it too. I am having second thoughts about a SRH though. I think 44 mag is kind of light for one of those, and now 10mm? What next? A SRH in .380?

    I'm waiting for a SRH, . 500. Way too big a platform for a 10mm.

    I'd be interested in a 10mm GP100, though.

Cool? Yep, but I agree that a Redhawk would be a better platform for 10mm.

Sure is pretty and reasonably priced too. I'm thinking that would put me on my dainty little butt though lol

10mm really isn't that bad. It may not be something that you would want for a long range session or HD/SD, but for hunting and occasional target shooting, it would be a very effective yet moderate choice.

I think it is too much grip for someone with small hands to get a proper shooting hold on it, thus accuracy would suffer. Someone with small hands would have to
grip the gun with their hand rotated slightly off the grip to get the index finger on the trigger or they would be pulling the muzzle rt during trigger pull.

Recoil would be tame with a 54 oz revolver.

Ain't no way I'd lug around that "boat anchor" around just to fire 10mm out of it

My 39oz 1911 is plenty heavy enough to keep the recoil manageable. With nearly another pound, I suspect recoil would be TAME

I'd rather have one of these in 10mm.

If I'm gonna lug around 54 oz. it better be in .44 Mag or above.

Not likely. The Super Redhawk is a tank. Holding it up is likely more an issue than recoil

I've never understood why so many people think this. The Super Redhawk has more barrel lug but the gun is the same size and weight as a Redhawk. I own a 7-1/2" Redhawk in .44mag and a 7-1/2" Super Redhawk in .454 Casull and the Redhawk actually weights 1/2 an ounce more than the SRH.

Maybe so; but, it is 5-9 oz. heavier than my Redhawks.

Are you talking about identical barrel lengths? I also assumed that the SRH was much heavier because of what I'd read until I weighted mine.
