    How about

She was afraid to come out of the water,
She was afraid that the people might stare,
While she was swimming she lost her bikini,
so the poor little girl had to wear...

    Desparados Waiting For a Train.

Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark (wrote it), the Highwaymen, and others.
Give that man a cee-gar. Guy Clark also recorded it on his Old Number 1 album, which I used to own.

That song was written based on events when he was a small boy in Monahans, Tx., which just happens to be where I grew up. He wrote at least one other song based on events while living there (Texas 1947).

    To add another one...

I don't have to tell you you're the only one.

I'd post some lyrics from Destiny's Child for ya, but I don't know any!!

    How 'bout:
"I woke up this morning and got myself a beer!!"

One of the favorite songs my band played!

Nope. Take a closer look at the lyrics, and think Homer and Jethro.

I remember the original by Jimmie Driftwood, but the Eddy Arnold version got the most play.
