    What coffee do you use?

We have the thread about what you use to to brew your coffee. I'm curious what coffee you use, in your preferred brewing method.

For me, plain old Folgers "Classic Roast" in the HUGE can from Sam's Club most of the time. When I think to pick some up, I actually prefer Folgers 100% Colombian dark roast.

2 cups twice a day if I need it or knot-------I need it.

This equates to 3 cups twice ad day using the measure on the coffee pot.

I like Dunkin' Donuts about as well as anything, but I always come back to Folgers Classic. It's cheaper, and I can make it strong and then doctor it up to satisfy whatever mood I happen to be in. If it's just a normal day and I've got things to do, I just drink it strong and black, but if it's a leisurely day, I may add a littler flavored creamer and sip it throughout the morning. I've tried lots of different coffee and always seem to come back to Folgers.

I used to do that until the commissary got the 1/2 caf in. Just a PIA with 2 cans and the scoop always in the wrong can.

The box is just a carrier for an insulated plastic container with a pour spout. I've had the same stuff at various seminars, meetings, etc. It is pretty good coffee.

Re: What coffee do you use?

Most restaurants around here have pretty good coffee and I noticed that almost all of them used Red Diamond coffee. Then I discovered that Red Diamond was actually cheaper than most other brands and almost half the price of the Dunkin Donuts coffee that Deb used to buy. We started using Red Diamond a couple of years ago and never looked back.

My favorite these days is Peet's Major Dickason's Blend. Dark and smooth.

Bullsi, Kirkland's Colombian used to be relabeled Starbucks House Blend. Same stuff, 1/3 the price.

Folgers black silk, or another folgers that I can't recall. Both dark roast. I was using 8 O'clock espresso, iirc. But Walmart stopped carrying the ground stuff, and now only carries beans. Beans ground are better, but I'm lazy.

I jump back and forth. Right now I'm using Folgers Classic. I also like McCafe for cheap coffee. Once I use up the Folgers I will probably get some Black Rifle Coffee Company "Silencer Smooth" roast.

8 O'clock original is my go-to coffee..... occasionally for a treat it's Jamaican Blue Mountain....I also like some of Black Rifle Coffee Companies offerings but it's pretty expensive and never a good idea to get hooked on mail-order coffee.

Depends on what's on sale SOMETIMES, but good coffee is about my only splurge. Seattle's best makes a morning blend ( used to be "Born in Seattle), that is $$4.50 on sale at Winco. Good price. Winco also carries really good bulk coffee with the Guatemalan Antigua being my favorite. Single bean, light roast ( which has more caffeine, the lighter the roast). The Tanzanian Peaberry runs a close second. About $7 a pound.

Folgers Classic for us, my wife works at Shopko and gets 10% discount and when they put Folgers on sale we pay about 6 bucks give or take according to the sale price. Usually buy six cans at a time so always stocked up.

Me too. That's our preferred weekend coffee.
During the week, we switch around all the time. Folgers, Maxwell House, Yuban, 8 o'clock, Chock Full o nuts, Kroger brand, Kirkland......whatever. Usually a Columbian, French Roast, or darker roast variety.

That's our "back-up" coffee when we can't get our usual, Cafe La Llave.

It's a fine grind espresso, and both my wife and I like our coffee black and strong. Imho, Bustello is a distant 2nd place.

La Llave is the cheapest coffee Safeway sells, but this is one time that price isn't an indication of quality. If you like Bustello, I'd bet you'd like La Llave even better.

I have ordered it from Amazon when local supplies were short.

The list is too long... Some worthy of mention that I always seem to have around are San Francisco Bay for K-cups, Cafe du Monde and lately Trung Nuguyen (Vietnamese coffee).

For many years Bustello and El Pico were my go-to brands. I’ll have to try La Llave.

Currently. Whole bean only! Kicking Horse coffee, Three sisters out of Canada. Good stuff!
City Brew. Cool river dark roast out of Billings Montana. An excellent “boutique” roaster. Highly recommend!
Last but in NO way least Cafe Richesse dark espresso roast. This one is roasted in ft Colins by the same family
that grows it in Brazil. Family plantation, family roast! Quite possibly the best cup of coffee you can get here.

    Im a serious coffee snob!
