Are there any bottom ejecting semi-auto shotguns out there?

My friend is looking for a semi-auto shotgun that is also bottom ejecting. Nothing comes to mind off the top of my head, has anyone seen or heard of such a beast?

Can't think of one...I suspect your friend is left-handed?

Either he's left handed or he reloads shotgun shells and he doesn't like having to look all over creation for his ejected spent cases. That's a real pain and those things, especially green ones fit in so well with the grass they're the devil to find em all. Bottom ejection puts them at your feet rather than 10 foot to the side and scattered around.

Edited to Add: If someone doesn't make one, they may be missing a money making opportunity. Anything that works in a pump should be a piece of cake for a semi auto.

Yes the afore mentioned cti is the only semi I know of, if your friend is willing to consider a pump gun, Browning's model BPS is bottom ejecting.

I was just going to suggest that as an alternative if bottom ejection is a must. I handled one of those Brwoning bottom-ejectors years back and it felt pretty nice.

You could tell him to shoot an 1187 'Gansta' style..........that should drop the shells at his feet.

I had a Norinco that I just sold that was bottom ejecting. Unless it's something that you really want, I say meh.
