Western fans may wish to check out "Gunman's Rhapsody" by the late Robert B. Parker.
Not a new book, Parker (creator of the Spenser private eye and Jesse Stone series) wrote "Gunman's Rhapsody" as an "historic novel" about Wyatt Earp. It's a fictionalized account of his Tombstone era.
I'm not an authority on Earp but I've read a couple good books on him, and this novel seems to be quite accurate in its portrayal of Earp, his family, and the life during that era, with of course liberties taken that set the book into the "fiction" category rather than as pure biography.
Very well written. Available for Kindle.
