    Pure decadent cuisine.....

Going light tonight with some grilled cheese sammiches an 'mator soup (under the weather right now)....new twist...The sammiches are stuffed with pepperjack cheese, sliced jalepenos, red onion, and fried in bacon fat! I can feel my arteries harding now..."and it was good"

    PS.....dipped in nacho cheese.....

Not a fan of tomato soup, and hate onions...........other than that, it sounds good.

When making grilled cheese, I add red pepper flake, garlic powder, and just a bit of chili powder to it. Just that tiny bit of extra flavor really turns a plain grilled cheese up to eleven.

Pair it with some beef stew and strong coffee and you've got one hell of a meal.......as a matter of fact, you've got what I had for supper last night.

Odd but awesome. Replace the butter that you smear on bread for grilled cheese with mayonnaise. You can thank me later. Trust me.

They make here something that resembles French bread but it is very soft and at least twice in size, it's called "Pan Sobao".

I had this morning a "baked" "Pan Sobao", mayo, real Swiss cheese, Spam and Mortadella sandwich!

Bring beer, but hurry up, the shrimp and short ribs are almost done. IMG_0959.jpg

    No kidding.

I don't have any artsy-fartsy pictures of it, but I added some brown sugar the last time I made hamburgers. I used about 6 tablespoons in 2.25 lbs of meat. Adds a little sweetness, and also carmelizes (sp?) nicely on the outside.

Using brown sugar with any meat is a wonderful idea. You can also mix in blackstrap molasses. Especially when making venison burgers.

Ive never added horseradish to my meats. I might try it next time.

Hot dogs cooked in chicken broth with locally made tater salad and cole slaw. Going to the gun club for some bullseye tonite.

Watermelon, add lemon and salt, works on thinly sliced carrots as well!
