Well hell no it's not cuz:
#1 : Lighter weight weapon
#2 : Low Recoil
#3 : Lighter Ammunition weight and bulk (A person can carry more .410 shells than a person using a 12 or 20 gauge)
#4 : Due to the popularity of the Taurus Judge and S&W Governor ammunition can be shared between long gun and handgun (not to mention the fact that there is more defensive ammunition on the market thanks to those revolvers)
not to mention,.......................................... .......COPPER PLATING TO PREVENT DEFORMATION OF THE BIRDSHOT!
