Re: Need help researching. Could be fun 😎
....but just in case, I just stamped a letter to MGM Studios and it's going out tomorrow. Funny, snail mail is the ONLY way they allow you to contact them. I have no great hopes that anyone will answer but you never know. Someone might find it an interesting lunch hour project.

Re: Got some bad, health related, news this weekend
Found a vascular/endovascular surgeon willing to see me. Should find out if she's willing to do anything by the end of the week

Re: I have a Shooting Bench Project!!
Part of this project it to get better at metal work. Gonna use my friends Plasma Cutter to cut out the top shape and his wire welder to tack down.Wambli Ska said:If you don't feel like welding it would take like 10 minutes to "spot" epoxy the top on to the bottom. That would make it safe from toppling over (which I think is unlikely unless you plan to move it a lot) and would give you future options if you decide you need a different top.CHIRO1989 said:I thought you meant you would fasten it to the floor, that top needs to be welded on for sureZee said:Would be too much vibration and movement if I don’t weld the top to the base.

👍🏻
I use thick rubber door mats on my friends bench that we build.
I use thick rubber door mats on my friends bench that we build.
Both for bipods and the heavy front rest I use has spikes on the feet and they sink into the mats.
We OVER built it but, it’s stable as a rock. I’ll try to get pics of it today at the ranch.
I want to kinda mirror this one after that one.

I shoot from inside my barn. “Indoors”.Diver43 said:Built to be leveled without shims or blocks. Awesome. The metal top will last forever, but won't it get super hot?
