I'll be cooking a small prime rib, sweet potatoes, salad, green bean cassarole.
Some NC shrimp out of the freezer for appetizer. Maybe some olive spread, fresh guacamole too.

My better half won't let me in the kitchen, she said it's all hers this year. We are going to have pork tenderloin, green beans, mashed potatos and gravy, candied yams, cranberry relish and fresh baked homemade buttermilk biscuts. Almost forgot the corn on the cob from the freezer.

Prime rib is in the oven.

Today I ditch the cholesterol warnings and make beef stroganoff.

Sour cream and slow cooked beef is gonna be a treat.

I usually serve it over brown rice but this year it will be over rice-a-roni.

    Merry Christmas my friends.

Don't even bother with a whole ham. Couple ham steaks, mashed and sweet taters, chicken noodles, mac and cheese, and rolls. Cherry cheesecake and an Oreo pie for dessert.

Started off with Finnan Haddie and Finn Biscuit for breakfast and then prime rib, mashed potatoes, squash bake, plum pudding with white sauce, asparagus and rolls for supper.

Got a pork shoulder on the smoker. I think the wife is making scalloped potatoes and a vegetable of some kind.

Stepdaughter and boyfriend coming over Thursday for a few hours. Did munchies and movies today. Been doing it for a few years now due to the bad economy and it stuck. I made a loaf of Irish soda bread. It's killer, but it I'd never done it in a standard load pan....still tasty though.

Had a shrimp ring, spinach artichoke dip, and some other small stuff. Getting ready to made some rosemary walnuts.

We did apple venison stew served over white rice in my house. It came out incredible, as did the sides: sweet potatoes and green bean caserole with apple pie for dessert.
