Facebook connections with members

I think we did this on the old forum but not sure if we did a thread here. There are a few here I have connected with on Facebook but a lot of us only know each other by our screen names. For those that are interested throw out your Facebook URL and let's get connected outside of the forum.

Mine is facebook.com/htpunk
No, I do not have a pink fuzzy bunny fetish but apparently my Facebook hacking wife does.

Rallykid, since this forum is open to Google, I'll not post my FB information, but you can find me there easily enough.

I will give it a search tomorrow. Or just add me and I will accept. My settings are private so finding my page isn't going to get anyone any info anyway, not worried about posting the URL ;)

No offense bro, but I did the FB for awhile, and found it to be HS all over again....lot of old memories got the flames fanned....I'd rather stay away from that fire if you don't mind. I'd rather know you from who you are now.

I'm not, because I have an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time!

Facebook is the AOL for the Occupy Generation (every message is a joke you've heard 10,000 times, a virus, or a hoax)

that being said, I've had a page since about 2005 or '06 [pun intended] to keep an eye on my then teenage kids.. now I use it to watch people I hardly know annoy each other. It's cheap entertainment.

I pretty much only use Facebook anymore as a backup in case this place crashes again-- so I can stay in touch with you folks, and as a way to get in touch with family that I have scattered all over the place. That, and if there was any reason I needed to get in touch with someone I went to school with-- I can find them. I might only check up on there for a couple of minutes every week or so. Other than that, I stay off.

Oh, and I have found dirt on young men that were interested on dating my daughter a few times. It isn't my fault the idiots don't realize what they put out for the public to see.

Neither, but either of those places are welcome to send their heat to Michigan to warm is up a bit.

I mostly use it to keep in touch with friends and family scattered around the world. Met some cool people and found some great companies through FB connections. Met a lot of like minded folks through friends I never would have had a chance to meet otherwise. It has its good and bad.

Some of us were born with a face for radio Jerry. My face on a book would be in the horror section.

I use FB for two things, as a backup for this place, and as a messaging board for people that I either care about (some forum members fit this bill) or people that I have daily interaction with, such as people that I am currently going to school with.

It sounds selfish, but if having you as a "FB Friend" doesn't benefit me in some way, you aren't on there. I've pissed off quite a few family members whom I wouldn't add, because when they asked why they didn't get added, I told them. :tooth:

That's sort of the beauty of it, if I cared whether or not they were pissed, they would already be on there.

Facebook is what will bring society to its knees. Who needs 'Big Brother' looking over your shoulder when most people post up intimate personal details willingly.

Yes, I am a member. I think I made 5 posts the whole of 2012. Only reason I stay 'hooked up' is that I am waiting for the forum to crash again........

Oh, and the term 'friend' to me , means someone that I care about enough to make sacrifices for...........not someone that wants me to click on a webpage so they can share with me what they had for breakfast or how bored they are at 3am....

If you want to be my friend, come and visit and bring beer, we will sit and talk using proper english and I will probably grill some venison steaks...... to go with a glass of 70 yr old Port..
Still enjoying the trip of a lifetime and making the best of what I have.....
