Butterfly in Feb?

Was out in the winter forest, as least winter for eastern NC.

I saw a yellow butterfly, how cruel is nature because there aren't
any flowers out in the woods for nectar.
A Veteran is someone that served in the Military, it does not matter where they served.

    I haven't seen a butterfly yet but I took this on Valentines day in the front yard. They are at least a month early and it's been cold here. There are in full bloom now.

    Daffodils are a hearty flower and can stand some serious nightly freezes.

    I cut some for Clean for V-day by the vacant house next door.
