There went the Gus budget.
The hard drive on my Main computer crashed 2 nights ago. After getting it back and restored I noticed about 10% reduction in storage capacity and performance lagging. So tonight I bought a new 512GB Solid State Drive and additional memory. $400 gone in a flash. So my dream of building a TimC-like AR with .22lr, 9mm, & .223/5.56 uppers is being postponed.

Never buy an Electolux! If you call a repairman for an Electrolux, they are not trained on them nor do they have a repair manual. When they get to your house, they have to call Electolux and get walked thru the troubleshooting. Ours has broken three times in three years, and this time no warranty. I'm pretty sure it is the pump, but I'm not going to buy a $200 pump for this thing. Getting replaced...
Appliances are not rocket surgery, and most makes are crap from what I can tell. I am on rebuild #2 for the Maytag dryer (16 years) and the washer is about ready for some TLC. I have gone through 2 DW's in less time and this one is on a rework.
Who makes Electrolux dw's?? If you just need the pump, looks like you can go under 60 + shipping http://www.partselect.com/PartSearchWizard.aspx?Appliance=Dishwasher&Brand=Electrolux&PartType=Pump
I can highly recommend a Dyson, I just got a DC44 cordless and that little thing really sucks, but in a good way!!

I can't find a schematic for my model, there are two pumps, and there is a spot under dishwasher from water getting on floor (I imagine the water ruined pump motor). Do I need pump and motor or just motor? IDK....
Any other make of dishwasher and I can find detailed instructions online on how to repair it (so I don't buy parts that aren't needed).......except Electrolux. They don't even allow their repairmen to have a repair manual. The first three times it broke was under warranty, and the repairmen had to call Electrolux when they got here and they got walked thru the troubleshooting.
I bought my mother a Whirlpool dishwasher 15 years ago that is still working. Only got the Electrolux because it was 60% off at Sears
I think he was referencing a newbie here that once posted a thread titled, "Hoe many gus do you have?" Remember that?
Anyway, sorry about the gus budget, Rimfire.

At least mine didn't get a horrible smell when it quit working...... Never made the connection.
