Yes, I am at least set for two weeks of shooting and hunting for sure and see no need to panic until about the second or third day of week three. :jester:

700 160gr Speer SBT for my 7mm08 hunting load and LR Duplex set up.

Maybe! Do you also have 700 primers and 16 lbs of the right powder? ;)

I have 700 Fed 210 primers set a side for this load. I only have 2lbs of W760 left but figure I will get more before this runs out.

Looks good Bear, that's exactly where i like to be sighted in at 100yds. Btw, my favorite little enabler is sending me some 220 grainers for my 8 mag. at some point I'll be asking for your pet loads. And johnnyrebs too.
What's that scope? Looks like a gold ring out there on the bell. I know you favor fixed 6 power.

No, not really, God knew he needed to give me one hunting rifle that would shoot about anything I put in it real good so I would not let go of it and I thank Him for his kindness. :that:

He's never failed to give me anything I needed. Although it often wasn't what I wanted.

This 160gr Speer dropped a buck this year at 145yds right in his tracks, he actually leaned and fell backwards after being hit with this load and laid there dead.

I was above him so there was a slight angle downward

I remember that, you nailed him.

Edit: sometimes I wish we could recover bullets in the autopsy of White tails we take just see how the bullet performed. But I guess with rare exception that will remain a pipe dream. What I mean is hold the bullet in my hand. Obviously if we take the animal the bullet did okay at worst. And we can tell by tissue damage what happened.
I've recovered a few from Elk and one from a Mule deer but never had anything less than through and through on a White Tail.

I am fixing to do a water jug test with this load soon and see how it holds up and how many jugs it penetrates. Water does not compress so it will be a tough test on the bullet but that is what I want. Far from perfect test media but will satisfy my curiosity at least.
