New House Photos!

I will be moving in Friday. Getting stuff wrapped up. It has been seven years in the making. Here is a little taste of the finished project. I will post more when they are ready. This is part of my dining room...

    First of all the house looks great! It seriously looks like you took a bunch of photos from a house-flipping show.

    Now thread jack: Is that Crystal Skull or whatever vodka any good? Or is it just a really cool bottle? You have Tito's, so obviously good taste in vodka.

    Crystal head is good, but Tito's is just as good for considerably less. That Tanqueray Sterling is not half bad either for the price.

    Beautiful house!

    We have the same forest green marble countertops in our bathrooms. My kids call it "blood vessel" marble.

    Moving day was Friday. Since this house hasn't had anyone living in it for the last 10 years, the sewer decided to not work. I tried my 50' rooter and it couldn't get it. Monday morning, I had a pro come out and he got through it (no roots-- sand and stuff) about 90' out. I got to finally use my new shower....

    Range report-- It is much neater than I thought it would be. If you are remodeling your bathroom, toss on a couple of body sprays! You will not regret it. I think I have the cleanest balls in Michigan. It is awesome-- your whole body gets blasted with hot water-- not just your head where it has to trickle down. The range-- it rocks! One thing I have to remember to do though is to reach around (not over) the stuff on the front burners to stir something on a back burner. I burnt off the hair on both arms that way.
