There were quite a few pictures taken during the SE shoot and a few people had posted some of them, (Barry,& Ned come to mind) but I recall Alec taking tons of pictures with the promise of posting them once he made it home. Well Alec, I know you're busy,(and old) but it's been a few months and we haven't seen them. Whas up?

    I am getting there.......albeit slowly.

Its 4.15am and I just got back from the emergency section of the local hospital after working 24hrs straight. I tripped slightly on tues afternoon, didnt think anything of it. Snatched 3 hrs sleep tues night and then went back to packing flowers. Noticed my left foot was a bit tender. Got up at 4 am yesterday and worked 22 hrs straight with my foot getting worse until I couldnt bear to put any weight on it and collapsed on the floor.

One thing I really hate is when my body lets me down. Finally had enough of the agony and drove myself to the A&E. They xrayed my foot and couldnt find anything wrong...............then diagnosed Gout!!!!
I havent had gout for 30yrs damnit!!!!

They gave me some Culture Scene ( opera and classical music lol) and some painkillers and 20 mins later I am walking again.
Good thing about going to A&E at 3.30am is plenty of parking and no waiting. Went back 30 mins later to deliver some flowers to the 'Angels of the night' as a thankyou ( Couple of the nurses were really cute!!)
One of the cute 'Angels' who had given me a stern lecture about quitting smoking wasnt wearing a wedding ring so I asked her if she would like to discuss me giving up smoking over a cup of coffee...........ended up chatting to her till the security guy told me to move my van.... and she gave me her ph no!!!!

Still have a shed full of flowers to pack before friday 6am delivery to the airport so am heading back out there to catch up on lost time.

Still working on the pics but all my downtime for the next 3 weeks is preparing for the Take a Kid Hunting day on sat the 17th. Should have some free time after that.......unless love blossoms..............or lust. (The only difference between the 2 is about 35 seconds)

    And NO........I didnt take pics!!!!!!!!!!!
Still enjoying the trip of a lifetime and making the best of what I have.....

That's the problem.......he's been taking care of himself, too well. He's got gout, all that wine and rich food will do that to you.

Alec, drink lots of cranberry juice and soak your foot in hot water and epsom salts and you'll be up and dancing with the ladies in no time.

Actually I have been too busy to host the 'Girls' etc and have had to bow out of the invitations received in the past 2 months......
I do have some news though of the DH group. Will post it up tonight..

( some people regard dancing as foreplay........I dont lol )

Gout, ouch, I just had an attack of it in my big toe, its weird stuff, I only get it when I'm tired, drink heavily and eat lots of seafood, apart from that combination i don't get it, good luck with the orchids and getting back to work.

Take care of yourself!! One of the BOLDED items on our to do list, is to visit New Zealand. One of our stops is to Visit you, and the wife is adamant about seeing your Orchids.
Take care and hope you get back to %100 soon.

I think my mentor ate garlic for gout, but, there is a pill.

Back to the garlic----don't know if it works; but, at least he did not get chiggers or ticks.

Gout, Ha! Your RockandRoll lifestyle is catching up with you. Or else it is too much 3.2 beer and pizza. The medication Allopurinol is your friend according to my dad who would rather walk on coals than take a medication. Glad you are moving some flowers.

I too would like to see the results of the SE shoot.
