Just wanted to share a thought on Dan J.

About a week before we learned that Dan had passed on, I had gotten on the forum in an entirely drunken stupor and started a subject thread that pretty much was TMI. I didnt realize I was doing it at the time (for obvious reasons,) but I did. Needless to say, the things I posted were not out of line, but just probably things that are best kept in my thoughts or maybe even spoken with to a counciler. I drunkenly awaited replies to find my thread moderated and a PM sent from Dan. He contacted me in the most positive manner a moderator could and informed me as to why he removed my post. I know me and him have had fall outs and he even PM'd me once warning against trolling (which was never an intention of mine.) But Its very noble to know that Dan J took my thread, my personal life and problems to the grave with him. And for this reason, I truly do have complete respect for him even beyond his passing. He will truly be missed.

No problem Sam. I think we all have our demons. Its just very honorable that Dan was enough of a true persona to take mine to the grave. And for this I am very greatfull.

Thanks for sharing that story about Dan. I surely do miss his presence around here.
