Memorial Day thought
[h=5]Today I am reminded of an episode that occurred a few years ago when I was flying back from working a case in Houston. When we arrived at Dulles, the Captain asked us to remain in our seats while they tended to a fallen soldier.
A full Colonel rose from his seat, adjusted his cover, and deplaned to the tarmac, where he supervised the unloading of a Flag-wrapped casket and escorted it to the waiting hearse.
I've often wondered who it was that a Colonel was the escort, but by the time we were allowed to leave the plane I don't think there was a dry eye aboard.

I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
