...outta DC for a change...

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has dismissed a federal lawsuit aimed at banning ammunition with lead components which amounts to yet another blow for the anti-hunting Center for Biological Diversity (CBD).

...they tried this a few years back, the EPA was mor'n willing to go along, until it was firmly pointed out that the EPA couldn't regulate ammo. Here they are right back @ it again, & they're not going to quit. If they can't get Congress to outlaw guns, they'll try to tax 'em, or "regulate" firearms out of existence...

...the "Regulatory Agencies" are more dangerous than Congress...

    Good news, indeed!
The power to tax and regulate a thing is the power to destroy that thing.

The original NFA was a tax on full-auto guns that the average citizen just couldn't afford. Once something like that is on the books it's easy to "amend" it to make it even more onerous. That's why it's important to keep the "common sense" crowd from ever getting a foothold with seemingly innocuous regulations. They don't stay that way!

Let these clowns get one little foot hold, one point of their claws into the ground and they'll rip it off in us. Then it will be time for that tree refreshment thangi! (Scues my slang here.)
