Looks like a gunsmith school project like my M-28 with the 1955 4 inch barrel and cylinder. The post on it is only plain black.
This barrel looks like a 3 1/2 inch. Is it in ACP or Colt?

I think it's cute. Weird but cute!!! Looks like one of those color schemes Zee puts on his rifles. Makes em catchie for sure.

Now having said that, I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating sardines. I would take it, nurture it and keep it clean and polished, and shoot the hell out of it, :tooth:

I've had one at the top of the list for a few years.
I'D been looking for a 6" 25-2
I just kept coming into stupid deals on others

I like it. It's chambered for the right cartridge, the birdseye maple grips are nice, and the two tone doesn't look bad at all on that combo.

rapier Thanks for the link. The moon clips are something I know very little about.
IIRC which I may very well not be the metal ones may need a loading unloading tool for them.
I seem to remember a company that made plastic ones which were supposed to be pretty ideal snap in, snap out.
I've been wanting a 25 for several years so in the interim I've forgotten which ones I had wanted

If you use the metal moon clips, do yourself a favor and get the tool. I use this one for my 625 and save a LOT of time and frustration. Well worth the couple of extra bucks.
