Pocket Pistol Porn!

I'm talking about GUNS! The kind that shoot bullets and use smokeless powder inside of brass cases. So, put it away, CPJ........we ain't interrested.
The other thread about the "Mowing Gun" got me thinking..........I don't have a pocket pistol! I have a pocket revolver, but not a pistol. Other than the Glock 27 and HK P2000sk. Neither of those are pocket pistols. They are sub-compacts. I might need to fix this oversight and get a tiny 9mm or something.
So, let's see your Pocket Pistol Porn!!
Show me what ya got and tell me how ya like it. Inspire me!
(NO CPJ........put it away! I'm still talking about GUNS!)

We have his and her's Kahr p380's with night sights. I also have a Kahr PM40. If I were to do it again, I would get the PM9 just because they are a bit smaller and there isn't all that much different ballisticly between a 9mm and a .40 now days anyway. Camera is in the truck. I am undressed. You will have to wait until tomorrow unless you want pictures of my "gun" too.
I owned a 9mm Shield for several months. I bought it with the intention of using it as a back-up pocket rocket, alas, t'wasn't to be. It was just too big to pocket carry and if I'm going to stick something on my belt, it's going to be a double-stack 9mm of some sort.
Even though the J-Frame has basically the same footprint, and is much thicker, it just carries in a pocket much better than the Shield did. I'll eventually get a smaller 9mm (CM9 probably) for a back-up gun, but for now I'll stick with the J-Frame.
There really are tasteless people in the world.

Hell, not only did the guy buy it, he gave me a bit more than $100 more than I paid for it in the first place!

I really like the Sig pocket guns, the P238 and P938, if a SA and a tiny bit more money is your thing. I also have been impressed with the S&W Bodyguard. The Ruger LCP makes a decent gun for the money. Even a Kel-Tec P3AT or P11 have their place as no frills, very small guns. The Kahr guns are great as well, I'd go 380 or 9mm, the 40 IMO was too much of a good thing in a small package. Never fired the 45 version but its on my want list. As is the Springfield XD-S for what it is.
And I do have a Kel-Tec P32 that's a true pocket piece, but I haven't carried it much lately.

The Micro Desert Eagle in 380 is smaller but I don't carry it as often as the Tomcat. The magazine has unseated itself while in my pocket, on two occassions and makes me a little uncomfortable carrying it. I think it's a common trait since my BIL's Micro does the same thing. I find myself putting my hand in the pocket and pushing the mag to confirm in ready when I carry it. Very "snappy" when firing and as all DAO handguns, has a long trigger pull. Accurate and fast follow up shots take practice because of the long trigger pull.

The pocket pistol thing just depends on the terrain and the situation.
A 4" XDm works well with a proper cover garment, a baby eagle is better and
that means there are sigs and CZs that will work as well.
A bersa thunder fits better.
I personally would carry a revolver because spare ammo in speedstrips are easier
to carry and deal with lint and no lumps on your belt.
The biggest issue for me is to have enough gun to hold on to, a real small pistol
will fit a pocket well, but, if the shooter has hands too big for it; he won't be able to
shoot it well enough except from "get them off me" range.
Uh-oh, now you done gone and did it...

According to Kahr the difference in size is miniscule. OAL of 5.47" vs 5.42", slide thickness of .94" vs .90".
So, you're saying there IS a difference?
Need to re-calibrate tor eyes, Knitepoet.

9mm minimum, for me.
The rest, it up in the air. I'm looking for options and inspiration in this thread.
Kahr CW45-.45acp
Kahr MK9 Elite-9mm
Bugarian Makarov-9x18
Walther PP-.32acp
Star model B-.380
Tanfoglio mod 25-.25acp
Ruger LCP-.380
Sig Sauer P-232-.380
Leoned .45 Colt/410.
All get carried from time to time but my favorites of the bunch are the MK9 Elite, CW45 and the Ruger LCP.

That is it? I could have sworn that there was a bigger difference in the two.
In that case I would seriously look into getting a Kahr. They are about the smallest consistently reliable 9mm on the market. I really love the looks and feel of the Diamondback DB9, but their quality control is spotty, at best.
Never mind, I re-read the OP.

Yes sir there IS a difference.
I carry the K9 myself.. Mines been worked on a bit.
Has a "target crown", stainless guide rod, mag well bevel, trigger work and a gentle melt job. Some sort of grip tape.
This, coming from a guy that thinks chickens have nice legs and skin, kind of a sideways compliment:jester:.
Sorry if my comment came across all "prison-rapey" Wambli.
I shot a Kahr CM9 today and loved it. Joe and Jeremy told me the differences between the CM and PM but it was 4:30 in the morning and I was blitzed so I don't remember. But I'm definitely getting a Kahr in 9mm soon.
I like the Diamondback, but know nothing about them other than holding one in a store.
That's the size I'd like to get, though.
