I had Hughes for about ten years. It sucked for about five of those years, but they finally got it going pretty good. Good download speeds, but the latency issue (~one second delay for the signal to go up and back down) makes it not so good for gaming or running Internet based software.
EDIT: As many threads as I have killed, this should be a slam dunk for me.
Thanks. At least that is one positive for Hughes net. I guess my online gaming days are over for now. Verizon has started blocking the link for Xbox live using Foxfi. Got to do something soon. Trying for 10 minutes just to post this sucketh big time.
We have been wiring a 6500 square foot house. 12 foot ceilings downstairs 10 foot upstairs. Up and down ladders hundreds of times a day. When I got out of bed this morning my legs felt like rubber.

Always with the negative waves! Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here, and say something righteous and hopefull!?
How about a contrast instead?
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way- in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only." Who let the dogs out? I know who done it. It was Caesar! It's all his fault there's no ammunition for sale!
And Caesar’s spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch’s voice
Cry ‘Havoc,’ and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.
